सोनू निगम की कहानी हमारी जुबानी
भारतीय सिनेमा के बेहतरीन पार्श्व गायकों में से एक सोनू का जन्म 30 जुलाई 1973 में फरीदाबाद जिले में हुआ। यह हिन्दी, तेलगू, और कन्नड फिल्मों में अपनी आवाज के जादू को बिखेरा उन्होंने असंख्य भारतीय व पॉप एलबम और हिन्दी फिल्मों में अभिनय किया है। सोनू ने ज्योतिष को मानते हुए अपने नाम की अंतिम वर्तनी निगामा को बदलकर निगम किया।
व्यक्तिगत जीवन : सोनू निगम के पिता आगम कुमार और उनकी माता का नाम शोभा निगम है। इनकी दो बहने है। उनकी रूचि पिता को देखकर संगीत में बनी। 15 फरवरी 2002 में मधुरिमा के साथ शादी के बंधन में बंध गए।
निगम का करियर : सोनू निगम ने तीन साल की उम्र में गायन शुरु किया। उन्होंने पहली बार स्टेज पर अपने पिता के साथ मिलकर का गीत गाया। उसके बाद से सोनू अपने पिता के साथ मिलकर शादियों और पार्टियों में गाना गाने लगे। फिर अपने पिता के साथ मुम्बई आकर 19 वर्ष की आयु में बॉलीवुड में अपना करिअर शुरु किया। उन्होंने अपनी गायिकी शुरुआत टी-सीरिज की मदद से 'रफी कर यादें' नामक एलबम से की। गायकार के रुप में पहली फिल्म 1990 में आई जो रिलीज नहीं हो सकी। लोकप्रिय टी. वी. प्रोग्राम 'सारेगामापा' के आने के बाद उनमें करियर में नया मोड़ आया। 1995 में उन्होंने बेवफा सनम में ÷अच्छा सीला÷ बार्डर फिल्म का 'संदेशे आते है और परदेस में ÷ये दिल दीवाना÷ गीत गाया। 2008 में उन्होंने युवराज, रब ने बना दी जोड़ी में गीत गाए। सोनू की कोई भाषाओं जैसे भोजपुरी, अंग्रेजी, उड़िया, नेपाली, कन्नड, पंजाबी, बंगाली, तेलगू, तमिल और मराठी का ज्ञान है।
पाप एलबम और संगीत : सोनू निगम ने कई एलबमों में काम किया है। इसके साथ-साथ उन्होंने कई भक्ति गीत भी गाए हैं। उन्हें ज्यादातर मोहम्मद रफी के गीतों के लिए जाना जाता है। उन्होंने सितंबर 2007 में 6 डिस्क संग्रह किया जिसमें उनके लगभग 100 हिट गीत शामिल है। पिछले वर्षो में सोनू निगम ने अपना संगीत प्रदर्शन संयुक्त राज्य अमेरिका, कनाडा, ब्रिटेन के साथ-साथ कई देशों में स्टेज शो कर चुके है। अप्रैल 2008 में उन्होंने भारत के विभिन्न शहरों का दौरा कर मैराथन को बढ़ावा देने के लिए कार्य किए। वर्तमान में वह सुनिधि चौहान के साथ ÷द एक्सप्लोजन 2009' टूर पर अमेरिका गए हुए है।
टेलीविजन और रेडियो : सोनू निगम 'सारेगामापा' और 'किसमे कितना है दम' टी.वी शो होस्ट किए है। इसके साथ 'अमूल स्टार वाइस आफॅ इंडिया' में जज की भूमिका निभाई है। सोनू निगम ने रेडियो स्टेशन 91.1 एफ. एम 'लाईफ की धून सोनू के संग' किया।
सोनू की भविष्य की योजनाएं : सोनू निगम की अंगेजी एलम्ब रिलीज होने वाली है जिसका नाम सीप्रीट आन पोलडिग और साथ ही साथ वह अपनी नई फिल्म आंखों ही आंखों में अभिनय करते हुए नजर आएंगे।
